Analysis of Creator Praising
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Shout for joy in the Lord,
Praise befits the upright;
Show that He is adored,
A blessing in His sight.
Give thanks unto the Lord,
Make melody with harp;
With ten strings to accord,
Songs that come from the heart.
Sing to Him a new song,
Skillful playing on strings;
Shouts of joy loud and strong,
That vibrates as one sings.
The Lord’s Word is upright,
Faithfulness does in truth;
That will give your insight,
Humbled and not uncouth.
For He loves righteousness,
With full of steadfast love;
Judgment of the godless,
Of the wrath from above.
