Analysis of Crystal Blue
Zoey Foster 2006 (Baltimore)
An indigo light that shines above us
Holding each other with joy
Mundane faces of those souls surrounding
With soft flesh caressing in the rain
Dirt ripped up revealing the earthy grain
Your eyes laughing with mine
That tune so proudly played
Strands of hope wrapped around us
Number 27 that shall be named
Your trumpet marked with the brave souls before you
Your hands crafted with expertise and grace
Marching on don't look back
I'll always remember that name
