Analysis of Forget About Your Past
Latisha Brodie 1981 (Maryland)
Forget about your past, because your past has forgotten you
Stop worrying about your past, because your past isn't worried about you
Let go of your past, because your past has let go of you
Stop living in your past, because your past is gone
And if you keep living in your past then you'll be gone too!

About this poem
I wrote this poem sometime in the late 1990's or early 2000's. There was a lot that inspired me to write it then and now over two decades late it still serves as a motto for me.
