Analysis of She dreampt of mermaids

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

Her mind awoke before her eyes
and she glimpst a mermaid looking inside
Its tail was luxurious and long
And her floating hair was beautiful and strong
Her face so curious to know what could she be seeing but the glow
Of a human being's soul before her
And then the light seemed to go
So she swam away to the deep below
