Analysis of Hope for Love
You were just a glimmer
A thought for just a while
Feeling you in my fingertips
Nudging me with your smile
Softly touching inwardly
Gifted from your eyes
Boiling me with laughter
Never thinking, never wise
Talking with endless passion
Drowning me with your touch
Wishing I had found you
Though chances were never much
Never thinking eternal
Knowing time was not long
Digging deep unto myself
Flame is burning, was I wrong
The vision does not linger
Forever was never near
Time’s fragment for believing
No soft whisper in the ear
Dreams all settled now
No more my magic in my air
Distance wrought the passing
And music did not care
I will move on now
Reading forward a new page
Learning to trust myself
Despite ponder of my age
Spying life with me only
A caption in disguise
Chapter did its closing
Changing age and its size
The beginning of the final
Wearing this feeling to its end
Putting on the armor
My knee will never bend
Goodnight my thoughts
Be never by yourself
Wishing now to wish upon
Leaving love by itself

About this poem
Written mainly for the mood I was in at a particular time in my life gone by. Not meant for a particular character, just my feelings about not finding the one I was supposed to love and who would love me.
