Analysis of PROMISES OF A DRUNK FATHER.
My father said wine is good, but then it always made his tongue loose.
Usually an introverted man, but all that was changed by a drop of booze.
He'd go on and on for hours, but his words he never seemed to choose.
We never had much that was ours, but he'd even promise you a golden goose.
That booze would make him talk for hours, but later he'd leave you all alone to muse.
The promises of a drunk father made me wish he rather drank juice.
