Analysis of Shell
I reminisce on the times we shared,
I wish I took better notice all those times you cared.
I mean times have changed
For many days I used to writhe in pain.
I broke your heart and mines the same,
If you’re happy then I’m happy even if you’re never In my life again.
It’s quite insane a break up can do that to you.
Every woman I pursued after you
Had had to have some of your key attributes.
It’s quite laughable but that changed my life and I don’t do amicable break ups.
So many nights I used to stay up, to reminisce and avoid the reality the faced me and faced us.
I played you and you erased us.
All the stories that I made up.
It was all fun and games at the time
But nothing funny about heartbreak love.
And I can have as much no strings sex as I want.
But the reality is , you can’t make love.
