Analysis of Foolish Hopes
“You sound down and sad” said he
“Good or bad, tell it all to me”
“Share your thoughts, what makes you sad”
“What I did, that makes you mad”
“ I am not angry at you, you see,
I let my heart ride the tides of your loving sea”
“ I let the wind rip thru my silky sails,
Now I’m the one heartbroken and pale”
“ Angry am I, at myself for it all,
For letting myself once again fall”
“Sorry if I misled you in any way”
“Don’t wanna share same feelings” is all he can say
Should I move on with my life
Or wait till his heart comes alive
Oops I forgot, I’m already dead, dug deep beneath
My foolish hopes still linger in eternity
