My mom

This one's for you Bea Alford,

I grew up overshadowed by danger
Where the letters , spoke of blood
Scenes of wild thoughts running fast
Oh how I wished it were a blade of grass

Got myself together and built a dream
In good days I worked the sound
But come the story teller the woods surrounded me
Down the long road , how I wished I were alone

Since Mom left me, got no place to run
No one bothering , No one home

There's a playground in the Montana in the sunny field
Grey dark trees build where the wind screams
Sun in the morning shade , starlight in rain
Nothing matters, nothing makes sense

The brook is silent now the water runs no more
And birds no longer chirp , the sky is full of cries
The stars shine for others when my night is dark
A hole formed in my heart , but no damage was visible

Since my mom left me, got no place to hide
No one caring , No one around

You'll never really understand the pain of heartache, until it comes from blood.
