Soldier's Inspiration

Sun Ra

"Daddy when will you be back?"
My daughter asked me, the answer wasn't exact
I thought about her face as I struggled through basic training
Whenever my strength was down and my spirits waning,
I'd think about her beautiful face
Suddenly my passion and drive would move with haste
