Don't Focus on the Locust / Be Observant of the Serpent

You may be a man of means
A redneck or hick
But when it came to picking teams
You never got picked
Just don't give up your dreams
And don't ever quit
Don't focus on the locust
Or you'll just get ticked
You may be a winner
You might have never been licked
You may be a beginner
You may think you're unfit
You may be a bit nervous
So let me give you a tip
Be observant of the serpent
Or you might get bit!
