You Won't Find Heaven

Leonard Wilson 1948 (Washington state)

+*You Won't Find Heaven*+
                (on the road to hell)

The song she plays
has the sweetest sound
The price you pay
is comin' 'round
You might roll a seven
or a deuce as well
but you won't find Heaven
on the road to Hell
            ( chorus)
*Be aware
Take care
Think twice before
you toss the dice

There's a price
Be advised
You can't do wrong
and have it turn out right*

Those big, brown eyes
will reel you in
Those silky thighs
That girlish grin

The farmer's daughter
sets a tender trap
When you think you got her
youve become her catch
                   (chorus)
*Beware
Take care
Before you leap
take  a look down there

Be wise and
take this advice
You won't find truth
in a pack of lies*

You aren't the first
Won't be the last
Her love is cursed
so watch your back

The other fools
that girl has known
have lost their souls
and their way home
                   (chorus)
Big,  brown eyes
They reel you in
Don't be surprised when
you drown in sin

That farmer's daughter
sets a tender trap
When you think you got her
you've just rolled craps!

The farmers daughter
sets her trap
You're on her list

and that's a fact

Consequences, consequences. Sets up excellent images of lusting for short-termed gratification. Long term regret of such folly. Thank you for leadership in form and novelty. Five star fashur..
