The ones that didn’t matter

i went down, i made the fall.
smashing through
these fragile walls
Ill buy you a new toothbrush,
you can teach me about trust
a subject that you
were not well versed,
we left that city in the dust

Creeping up on
this December,
last year wasn't much
to see or remember
Maybe for you,
a prisoners moon,
but for me you didn't
come too soon

You left stains
of your pain on me
It dripped like grease
then you rained on me.
There’s  clay in my bucket,
so f*ck it
with plenty of room for two
we go around
upside down~

And when the dust settles..
moth balls will lay at your feet
Infused in confusion
 there's a black black kettle
I’m insane with the pain
but i don't rust with the water

It’s  cold without you,
but we never slept with the sheets.

We went down
and we went far,
in your bed
or in my car
All the flour
none the bread-
hour by hour,
words that shred

I could buy you
a new tooth brush
You could teach me things
about the human touch
secrets that crush,
but mostly just lust.
Draw my line
so i don't say too much
This the truth, my pursuit
