People Are The True Evil

Standing there so lonely
He's the only one unholy
People turn away
He's tired of their sympathetic lies
So the young little boy with the knife in his hand
Dropped it down
And simply cried
He was so confused
Why didnt they lke him
Was he any different than them
So now he stands atop the lonely old hospital
Looking down at the empty street
Waiting for someone to say , "Dont jump!"
And still no one came
Eleven o' clock and still no one in sight
He'll jump at midnight
Unless someone cares enough to stop him
Waiting and waiting
Something he's done his entire life
Its eleven fifty nine
And he's still not sure
But its the only way to get his point across
Yet instead of jumping
A forceful shove from behind
People had enough hate inside them
To kill a child
Because of his beliefs

I'm a poet that writes solely on what i feel at the time i write. If i feel lonely,i write a poem about lonliness and add a story behind that,if im angry then my gorey little mind will just take over and write what it feels, hope whoever reads enjoys. Many of my poems come from a little bit of inspiration,Edgar Allan Poe gives me new ideas with every poem i read and i try to use a little bit of his style while keeping it all my own. more…
