Found

A fair heart once found
In a place of darkness and fear
Sought a peace
That could only come from love

A fair heart once hurt
From a lover's betrayal
Sought to hurt
That would only ease his own pain

A fair heart once broken
From a lack of hope
Sought a truth
That should be found in another

A fair heart once lost
From a broken heart
Sought a dream
That could bring him joy and happiness

A fair heart once sad
From an unknown fate
Sought to love
That would make him complete

A fair heart once cried
For he lost himself
Sought to live
That would change his ways

He learned to live
He learned to love
A fair heart he was and is
He is found

I love your insight. You knew what he thought he wanted and you knew what he needed. True love is patient and kind.

Nice work, beautifully written, I to also write poetry as a healing mechanism since I was young. It's been a great outlet for me as well.

Excellent piece of writing, Kristy. Lucky man to have a woman as talented and caring enough to write about him.

This sounds like a very tough and arduous journey—a journey whose end brings him well deserved happiness. Nice piece.
