Pretty Boy

He's my pretty boy
He never says hi
Or even goodbye
He always walks in his void

There's no substance
Not even a voice
Nothing I can feel in that face
Only a statue
Wandering in all of his grace

I want to touch him
And see him
For who is really there
I want to know him
And maybe feel a tiny feel of hair

With eyes like mine
That see the things I really don't have to see
I saw a boy
Who probably saw me

About this poem

It's about the feeling of longing, wanting to get closer/connect with someone on a deeper level but being unable to because there's nothing to know, no soul.
