Poetry

Sharon Stubblefield 1966 (Bronx, NY)

What is poetry
Living, thriving, breathing, dying
Flowing like a summer breeze
Raging like a mighty river

What is Poetry
Dreaming, gazing, pulsing, relaxing
Looking at the sun as it sets over a field
Counting the stars in a cloudless sky

What is poetry
A lover's kiss, a kitten purrs, a baby's giggles
All of these makes up poems that comes from the heart
Poetry lives in all of us either light or dark
