Promise Tommorow

                 Promise Tomorrow
Tomorrow is the promise of a brighter
                           day(so they say)
The sun will come out tomorrow( that's what Annie said)
If the Lord let me wake up  tomorrow( my grandma used to say)
Tomorrow things will be better( we tell ourselves after a bad day)
If the lord allows you to wake tomorrow then your purpose is not fulfilled. ( Right)

But in the midst of  all these tomorrows how do we live our today,
                                                  So?
Are we living today for the promise of tomorrow(?)
Are we  just living and praying today to get through to tomorrow(?)
When we lay our tired bodies down at night do we trust we will wake for our tomorrow. (?)

But what if your or my tomorrow never comes.

The sun never shines on our tomorrow
Our creator didn't wake us up
Things in our yesterday didn't get better.
You lose sight of your purpose.

Then is the  promise of Tomorrow broken(?)
