Born in Torrance, CA. Michael grew up in Hawthorne, CA, Tucson, AZ, Tacoma, WA, Princeton, IN and Pomona, CA where he still resides. Michael wrote his first serious poem in 2001 writing just a handful of other poems from 2001-2006. In the new year of 2022 Michael was inspired by his Aunt Herschella Horton whom he hadn't seen since he was six years old to continue writing poetry.
