Midnight Rain
midnight rain
her hair in silky flames
swelling black desire
lightning strikes
thirteen emotions fell
one that i have never felt
a troubled relationship
wiped my hands with her blood
as i held her in my arms in the cold moonlight
midnight rain
her eyes in mysterious ways
always knew she was a liar
a cold and stormy night
underneath the church bell
for once i just couldnt help
a harmless crush
turned into forbidden lust
hearts were broken around midnight
midnight rain
her arms scarred from razor blades
falling back in the mire
staying out of sight
caught inside a living hell
one i know all too well
an unrequited love
once was just not enough
had to see her again if only for just one more night
