God’s child

Hey sista! I heard you have the ends to buy a Benz.
A new home to call your own.

You have two degrees under your belt and financial wealth. You should be proud of yourself.

You don’t need recognition, you did this all out of your own volition.

You practice self-love. You’ve healed old wounds.  You forgave people  who didn’t deserve forgiveness.

Your sitting on top of the world looking up. Thanking your Savior for all He’s done.

You have so much determination you could run a nation.

Life is good and You still visit the hood. Giving back to your community and encouraging unity.

You mentor young girls . You encourage education. To help empower a black and brown nation.

Through all these blessings you continue to stay humble
God has walked behind you and picked you up whenever you have stumbled.

You thank the Almighty every night
Knowing that with Him everything is going to be alright…

Life is good. Amen it sure is. It's always better with the Lord in it.

Beautiful piece of writing, LX. This is a great self-appraisal, as well as praising to our higher power. That is always a good thing. :-)
