What do You See

I look in the mirror and I look distorted
Trying to clear the focus
My skeletons behind me haunting me
Hardship from memories
Damaged my body and corrupted my soul
"Don't try to run. We can catch you."
I heard someone from behind
Thought I could be what I never was
I've chosen a lonely way
Stains I can't wash clean
Words I cannot mend
Darkness my nightmares can't imagine
Cursed with pain and sadness
All I know of love I imagine
The damage intended justified the collateral damage
But creates consequences that undermine the fragile peace
Abandon with my skeletons dancing on my grave
Judgement on what you see when you blink
A clear picture
Someone wishing my suffering would be deeper
Someone always saying I'm going in the wrong direction
Someone said, no one will save you
The fragile peace gone
The lie decompose as the lie goes deeper
I look in the mirror
I see nothing
What do you see?

Good poem, sort of reflects how I feel at times, like I won't be any better, I am damanged, I can't get better, people just see my past.

I have a lot of things going on too. It's never pretty. I have a nuclear stress test coming up. They opened me up twice already. That's only a spot of all the other things.
