Moon and The Sun

Moon and Sun

Our love, once like a sunrise,
A slow, breathtaking ascent,
Emerging into the gentle embrace of morning light, bathing our days in gentle warmth.

But now, it mirrors a sunset,
A gradual fade from warmth and sunshine into darkness,
Yet even in the Darkness, there is the captivating  allurement of the moon and stars to guide our way.

How does this relate to you and I?

In you, I see the moon—
Mysterious, captivating,
Preferring the solace of solitude,
Unaware of the light you cast upon the world,

And I, like the sun—
Warm, inviting,
Yet destined to chase after your ethereal glow,
To warm others, yet never bask in your radiance

Our love, a bittersweet melody,
In the shifting hues of dusk and dawn,
A poignant reminder of life's delicate balance.
