Like a piñata



Why am I alive?
They say I'm alive to shine
Yet they hit me with their bats
And break me like a piñata.

I think of being no more
My corpse only they adore.
Tell me, if I've never hurt you,
Why you hit me back with all your force?

About this poem

I wrote this poem because i was feeling really down due to a friend who never cared for me.
