10 To 1

10 To 1
By Robert T. Davenport

In the realm of numbers, let us embark,
On a journey profound, where thoughts embark,
From the pinnacle of ten, we shall descend,
To the core of existence, where I transcend.

Ten, a symbol of wholeness, a perfect score,
A starting point, where possibilities soar,
Yet as I delve deeper, I begin to see,
That within this vast realm, there lies a key.

Nine, a step closer, a fraction of ten,
A shedding of layers, a chance to begin,
For in shedding the excess, I find clarity,
A glimpse of the truth, a glimpse of me.

Eight, a symphony of balance and flow,
A harmony within, a rhythm to know,
As I dance through the numbers, I start to find,
A melody within, a purpose defined.

Seven, a mystical number, a bridge to the divine,
A connection to something greater, a sacred shrine,
In the depths of my being, I sense a spark,
A flicker of divinity, igniting the dark.

Six, a symbol of harmony, a union of two,
A merging of opposites, a love that is true,
For within this journey, I come to realize,
That unity resides within, where love lies.

Five, a number of change, a turning point,
A chance to transform, to break from the joint,
As I shed old skin, I embrace the unknown,
A metamorphosis begins, a new self is sown.

Four, a foundation, a solid ground,
A structure within, where strength is found,
For in the depths of my being, I start to see,
A fortress of resilience, a spirit set free.

Three, a trinity, a balance of mind, body, soul,
A realization dawns, a sense of being whole,
As I align these aspects, I find my core,
A unity within, forevermore.

Two, a duality, a reflection of self,
A mirror to gaze upon, to delve,
For in this introspection, I come to find,
A deeper understanding, a truth intertwined.

And finally, one, the culmination of all,
The essence of being, standing tall,
For within this journey, I come to see,
That the number one is simply me.

From ten to one, a voyage profound,
A journey within, where treasures are found,
For in the realm of numbers, I come to find,
That the greatest discovery is the self, aligned.
