MEMORIES- Kayeshaa Bhaan

MEMORIES

Oh! Dear Lord, I think to myself,
What a blessing mankind has been poured upon,
A blessing to relive the good old days..
To fulfill the emptiness of someone,
To feel the presence of that special one.

An unrivaled gift.
A gift beyond words..
A gift so powerful, can bring happiness and regrets through,
A gift that brings tears of joy & sorrow too
A gift so magical yet emotional.. an evocative gift,
the gift of MEMORIES.

Kayeshaa Bhaan

About this poem

This poem is written by a high schooler named Kayeshaa Bhaan i.e. me. I wrote this, as for i felt grateful to the almighty for memories, after i lost touch with a certain person about whom i knew nothing, i knew nothing about them except their name. Only the memories of them remained with me. This poem evokes a sense of nostalgia and appreciation for the gift of reliving the past through cherished memories
