AT 18 YEARS YOUNG

AT 18 YEARS YOUNG

Rain drops falling, uh huh those are my tears,
Some tears rolling, down my face is my fears.

My heart broken, I've just had my place taken,
My pride taken, by someone with a better ace token.

This hitting me,  Hard! Hard! Hard!
Pain mocking  me,  Haha! haha! haha!

Oh oh by the way, that's me at 18 years young,
Luck! Away from my way, pain only by my heart sung.

I look at me and I see a blind kid in adversity with truth,
I look at me and I see a kid so obsessed over Ruth.

In Alert I bark at me,  How? How? How?
How did I forsake me, Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!

You deserve the best, and pride attached to your chest, I scream at me.
I picked up my luggage one after another to search for a better nest.
