Galaxy

The sun was shining,
the moon was too
It was the only thing
constant above us two

The morning sun’s glare
to which I asked
if it was holding you with its sunshine
The night moon’s glare
to which I asked
if it was brightening your darkest nights

If only we could dance
one night more under the stars

I would not only pray
to accomplish that
But also struggle
to stay with you all my life
