Analysis of It’s Over When You Quit
Charles Edward York 1966 (Saigon, Vietnam)
It’s Over When You Quit
It’s not over when you lose
It’s over when you quit
The fight is is surely lost
When you don’t give a shit.
The boxer is the real winner
For rising from the mat
When the fighter chooses
A life not lying flat.
Rolling with the punches
Comes with every bout
So stick and move real well
And knock the mutha out!
Defeat is not the end
When you rise up again
Keep on fighting forward
And fortune will be your friend.
