Analysis of Tick Tock that's the sound

Tick Tock
Tick Tock
Tick Tock

That's the inevitable sound
which abruptly summons
you back to the ground
as you seek to find
something inside yourself
apparently out of reach

It's the midst of a sunny morning
off to work soon it will be
the same place of dread
you haft to earn a living

But you won't be like the others
and simply turn to stone
one day your going
to make it on your own

Co-workers are there
it seems year after year
settling like one of them
is what you most fear

Tick Tock
Tick Tock
Tick Tock

That's the inevitable sound
which summons you
back to the ground

Employers think they own you
they have no clue
it is to myself I will remain true
eventually find what I seek
even though the present
appears at times bleak

Out there somewhere
lies my special place
in the schene
