Don't get a Divorce

As I contemplate on life
Things are not right
I want to leave my wife
I need a guiding light.

Chorus:

Don't get a divorce
It's not the right course
Look within yourself
And you'll find help.
A change of attitude
Is the prelude
Remove all selfish demands
And take a stand
To fill each act with love
That comes from God above.

There is troubled all around
My wife sleeps around
I want to get away
There's no reason to stay

When you said "I do"
It was not that simple
For love is a principle
That must be carry through.

Forgiveness is what it takes
Do it for the children's sake
Nurture the plant of love
Acts of kindness make.
