Mustard Seed Faith

I speak to you mountain get out of my way
In the mighty name of Jesus you cannot stay
The Lord said to me if I do his will, everything he has promised
He would surely fulfill
If my faith was the size of a small mustard seed
That's all it would take and he'd meet all my needs
The great Master Gardener takes care of me well
He keeps me from choking on the parched weeds of hell
I've learned to be patient and let him cultivate
Though at times it's so hard to be still and wait
But his word will stand for eternity
So mountain go cast yourself into the sea

Some little improvements in structure, and wording would make this a much better poem. Often you will read poems that elude to a statement without actually saying it, or imply secondary meaning with in the central theme.

A bit routine when it comes to these kinds of poems, but some merit is seen in two or three lines.

There is not much that I need to say about this poem. I am happy that the author is strong in her faith, but her effectiveness at executing this theme through poetry is anything but strong. While I do not wish to denigrate the writer's theological views, I feel that she would benefit from reading some good poetry to get a feel for what a good poem looks like.

I know a lot of people are not comfortable with what I write. And likewise I don't like what some others write. This is my gift from God and everything I write is from my own personal experiences. Therefore I will continue to write what God gives me to write. As I said in my profile, I am a Christian and I will not apologize for anything I write.
