Ambivalent Postulation

The human spirit is divided into variant suppositions,
These are based on visual observations as well as factitive acuities.
Each subjective imposition and progressive affirmation gives itself to reactive expression,
The result is an emotional...

The Fourth of July: A Celebration of Freedom

On the Fourth of July, we gather 'round,
To celebrate freedom, so profound.
Though the ink dried later, on August’s breeze,
July 4th marks our liberty’s decree.

In '76, the Congress met,
Thirteen colonies, their fate was set.
With...

Breathless

In silence of your orbit, my heart finds its voice,
Whispering secrets of a love, where I have no choice.
Your aura, a celestial glow, outshines the dawn,
A marvel that stirs the soul, leading me on.

Breathless , I stand, as you eclipse my...

Inner Peace

In the shadowed vale of doubt and pain,

I have been writing poetry for 40 years. It is immensely enjoyable. I write short stories as well. My favorite genre is Nature and the Pacific Northwest in particular. I thought about writing this poem for a while and it came to me in the middle of the night a good chunk of it. I am now dabbling in writing an entire novel about wolves as characters(Protagonists) in legend format. Here is to hoping in will be meaningful to someone!
