What you wrote was beautiful, and it touched my heart. I almost gave you my first vote, but there were lots of good entries this time around. It was a difficult decision to make.

Your poem told a wonderful but sad story. I hope you'll all be together again soon every day and especially at Christmas, healthy and whole.

I liked your poem. Your word choice captured the emotions you were feeling when you wrote it and left an impression on me.

I was also told God won't give us anything we can't handle, but it's not true. Sometimes God gives us things that are far beyond our strength so when we make it through to the other side, we can't say it was us who got ourselves through, it was God who carried us through. That way God get's the glory and not us.
