The Gothic Heat Wave Scenario.

It's too fucking hot,
it's like walking through soup.
My feet are on fire
and my hair starts to droop.

My eyeliner runs
and my face is all red.
Like a big shiny beetroot
with eyebrows instead.

Bad Toaster.

At home we have a toaster
that won't do what it's s'posed ta.
It only toasts half the bread,
the other side is cold instead.
Midway through the toasting process
one has to turn the bread around.
I only do it under protest,
