The bad effects of competition is pointed out in the poem where the writer says "power tussle makes the global world". An example is when countries strive to outshine one another financially, scientifically, technologicall,y etc, No one wants to help the other develop more than them.
This is the same among individuals, everyone becomes insecure and wary of one another because of" fame and honour"

The poem shows an encyclopedic knowledge of Justice. It points out the fact that not only is justice "righteous" but it is also doing what is morally right even at the cost of being alienated by his "brethren". Among other things the poem also tells us that " a thousand years in your eyes is like an evening past" That is, No matter the circumstances be it time or any other thing, Justice will always prevail.
