When I rise up above the trees
South-West of the Eastern European Plain
I glide and yellow eyes look
Down on the foreign cities
Brimming with people
I beat my dark wings wide upon the air
See the fear and sorrow there
They run like sheep...

Stark. Bare.
Traces of tobacco hid

  among the folds of dingy cloth

  draped to conceal the morning light.
Eyeing it's rays

Back arched.

  pendulate in the sweltering heat,
