My name is Ingrid Bitetti. I am Norwegian, but I live in North Florida. I grew up on a farm at the end of one of the most beautiful Norwegian fjords, the Hardanger Fjord. The people around me and also the beautiful nature inspired me so much, I started rhyming before I could write. I won my first poetry contest in a Norwegian magazine at age 13. Since then I have not stopped writing.

GOSSIPING’S ALL HE CAN HEAR
BULLYING CREATING FEAR
WET BOOTS FULL OF SNOW
BRUISES HIDDEN WILL NOT SHOW

LEARNS TO RUN FAST AS SHIT
BEHIND HIS DESK BEFORE HE’S HIT
RECESS NOSEBLEED AND HE BARFED
WHILE THE OTHERS STOOD AND...
