Some grammatical errors and spelling mistakes, but this Poem is deep, yet simple to grasp, a message of regret and how time flies. The other poems try too hard with outdated language and lots of negativity.

I have to say that after reading the winning poems for this month and the previous contests, I’ve come to the conclusion the people using it are the dumbest people on the planet. The winning poems are not good. The fact I didn’t even get runner up on any means this is a garbage site. See ya more »

This resonates with me… people can be so naive or blinded, or in this case deaf to the world around them.

- While I appreciate your response, I say it's an empty gesture to just say everything is God without looking at the data and trying to understand the nature of things. Then, when you've uncovered the secrets, you will appreciate the wisdom in things much greater than just blank faith. My opinion of course! more »

whether it's helpful or not, rules are embedded into the human experience, most of the time it's routine & not obvious that some one/some thing is in control

- all politicians are motivated by votes & deploy the same tactics to solicit voters.
