I'm 56 single mum to two 20+ lads. I used to craft and make jewellery but due to rheumatoid arthritis I had to stop. In 2020 when i was forced to stay home due to being immunosuppressive I was bored. One night having flash backs about the day I had to put my dog to sleep I started getting all these thoughts so wrote it down and it became my first freestyle poem and those words still come. I have my book simple poetry waiting to be published as an ebook on kobo and I am nearly finished with my second one simply poetry. I love horror movies especially zombie, I also believe in the spirit world and used to read tarot cards. I love dogs and have a Jack Russell called butch.

All to soon the...

Coming every night,
Leaving by dawns early light,
The sun appearing,
Sun and moon pass each other,
One dark one...

Cow eyes

Eyes as deep as pools of chocolate,
Licking your nose with your large tongue,
Large ears stuck on the sides of your head,
Stood chewing the grass in the field,
You look docile and sweet,
Wanting to stroke you I walk forward,
You turn and look,...

Simple farmer

A simple farmer he was,
Towing his plough along the field,
A golden shine caught his eye,
Digging he found coins and so much more,
Riches beyond his wildest dreams,
A new plough he would buy,
Just a simple farmer he...

definitely was. There was so much more freedom and kids tended to be healthier to. Now so much we did then has been stopped due to health and safety and being PC.
