I have been writing short stories and poetry since I was 12. I am now 53 and I have wrote a poetry book yet to be published, but that is on me, nervous. I also have a book I have been writing, basically about my life and the trials I have gone through and I had survived. I love to write, especially poems, it is not just a hobby but helps me to release anxiety and let go of fears and conflicts.

Stand Strong

Dissatisfied with the past and
having thoughts of regret
I take a step out of the darkness,
to where the light may set

Reaching out for help, I face toward a friend
I take the risk of having the sadness end

Allowing the sun to shine...

Think before you speak, learn how to plan

Forgiveness come from within,
Some say, it could become your ultimate sin

Before you can forgive another,
