Perfect Order

Looking lazily out my window
I see rooftops stretching for miles
Flowing across the horizon
Brick and stone and tile.

Standing in perfect order
Not a chimney out of place
Blocking my view of the world
Protecting my private space

Hope in the light

Silly people
To the left and to the right
whining about life with all their might
who wronged who
who was wrong and who was...

So understand this poem, manic moments, thrashing thoughts, a mind that won't shut off when you need it to, that doesn't seem to work right when you want it to. Very good.
