Stephen Fitch is an American poet whose works include "Faerie Dancing", "Blackhole Sadness", "Dreaming" and "Suicidal Tendencies". Stephen's favorite poet is John Keats. Favorite Quote is, "A winner gets up one more time than they fall down, a hero doesn't see any other option." His poems are most influenced by love, loss and loneliness. He was once quoted as saying that, "his best poems feel like he is channeling a heavy metal vampire in need of a fix". Despite this, he is always optimistic and quite enjoys life. You can find Stephen's printed work in Piers Anthony's biographical book, "How Precious Was That While" page 156 and in a few editions of "The Catalog of Best Poets in America".

Suicidal Tendencies

Like a wasting heart disease
Suicidal tendencies
Something's got a hold on me
It strangles so I can't be free
A quiet sadness of the soul
deep inside me there's a hole
That I've tried to fill too long
and I've tried to be so strong
but I can't do it...
