Thank you so much for taking the time to read my poem. I’m so glad your daughter was able to get away. Free can sometimes be a hard word to use, because although she is free of him, she will always have them post moments. Tell her to keep her chin up and one day she will completely heal.
I’m currently writing a Novel about domestic abuse. It’s going to be called “Battered Roses”. I think your daughter would fully relate and would love the story when it is published. Hopefully by December!
