This poem highlights the impact of romantic love. Persons captivated by love are blessed with a life of eternal joy enabled by mutual love,care and concern. It is matchless in intensity and commitment that ensures a life together with abundance of love, understanding and happiness far above any human relationship.,Romeo-Juliet,Laila-Majnu,Anarkali -Caius are some fictional and non-fictional examples of persons committed to each other for life. They need not be essentially tragedies but they are guaranteed samples of eternal happiness. The poem beautifully expresses the idea.

The poem high-lights the weakness of imaginary love. Some youngsters are misled by the films and short-stories. They feel that they are in love by just exchange of glances. Unless two persons have spoken to each other and exchanged their intimate feelings for each other, they cannot presume to be in love. The poem -Love at first sight- tells about such imaginary feelings and presumptions in a concise manner.
