I had like a books worth of poems on the old poerty.com but they not on here. Two /three of them won the Editor's choice award. I even got a publishing company from NY that would have published it if I had the money to do so. I wrote most of my poerty with my first husband last name...Smith.

FOR LOVERS STATE

As I hear the locusts as I climb the dogwoods...it's home to me,
Granny making fried apple pies from apples from our yard,
Driving down the road in my dad's old Ford Custom TRUCK going 100 or so,
Watching the cow pastures fly by,
