I have cerebral palsy; there I said it, that's me.
For a long time I prayed to be free.
A beautiful mind trapped in a body of disease.
For a long time this is what I believed.
This physical battle had me feeling defeat.
Am I up against a war...

I once thought I was a chicken and after the worms I would peck
Day after day the morning would rise, another meal I would get
Going along with those around me, eating that which would suffice
Never knowing who I truly was, never knowing the real...

Let go of my battles, let go of my wounds
Let go of the pain or else I am doomed
