Hello, it's been quite a while since I've been on this site but here goes. I'm a mom of 3 and grandma of 11. I began writing when my children were small. I would write stories for them since I was in poverty back then and couldn't afford much. Later in life I would write poetry. I write an assortment of things. I never know what I'll write next. So, this is me. So, hello to everyone here at Poetry.com

As the winds fanned the flames higher and higher,
I look back and see my home, a ball of fire.

With...

As God has lovingly
Planned for us human beings of
Man, and beast to live peacefully
Together on this wonderful planet Earth
Earth for who he hath made for us to...

A Child’s Wish

As a child explores the outer world,
Have you ever seen a wish twirled?

A dandelion in its final days...
The puffy ball of seeds sets a child to a daze.

"Why does it do that, Mom," says the little voice next to me.
You make a wish, then you...
