I have been writing poetry since a "Reflections" contest in the second grade. I have been married for over 30 years as of this writing, and have 4 children, and 8 grandchildren.

As a child, long ago,
a spirit with Father above;
I spent my time listening to His word
as He taught of peace, and love.

Then one day He called me forth,
He sent me here to Earth.

Flowers can be given
as gift to the one you love.
Flowers can make heart strings soar;
like wings on a dove.  

Flowers bring the beauty in,
and spread the joy around.
