I agree. I'm a lucky adoptee and I found a wonderful family that loved me. My brother who I found wasn't as lucky. He was in and out of foster homes and the orphanage until he turned 18, then he was aged out of the system to fend for himself. I just thought what that would feel like and wrote the poem. more »
